The 100-meter sprint is an athletic event that requires maximum speed, acceleration, explosive muscle power, movement coordination, and efficient running techniques. Improving sprint performance remains a challenge because previous studies have often examined training methods separately, indicating the need for a comprehensive review that integrates sprint training and agility training. This study aims to analyze the effects of sprint training and agility training on improving the performance of 100-meter sprint athletes. The research employed a Systematic Literature Review approach through systematic identification, selection, eligibility assessment, and analysis of relevant scientific articles. The data sources consisted of national sports journal articles published between 2022 and 2026, which were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques through research findings synthesis. The results indicate that sprint training contributes to improvements in acceleration, maximum speed, lower-limb explosive power, and running efficiency, while agility training supports neuromuscular coordination, balance, and body movement control. The combination of sprint training and agility training provides more optimal effects on improving 100-meter sprint performance. This study provides theoretical implications for the development of sports coaching science and practical implications as a reference for coaches and athletes in designing more effective sprint training programs.
